MORALE 4 THE PEOPLE

WHAT IS MURALE?

Murale is a blend of "mural" + "morale", and that is exactly what we strive to represent. Even though many of us still enjoy the benefits of working from home, we don't want you to feel like you are living at work! We specialize in making wall art with the intention of boosting your morale through your walls.

our story

Life is weird – I say this almost daily, for a variety of reasons. I’m somewhere on the cusp of millennial à gen z, which if you ask me, is one of the most confusing and refreshing places to be. If you can relate to this generational limbo, perhaps you agree – we all have ADHD, crippling self awareness, regular identity/existential crises, and imposter syndrome.

I’ve grown accustomed to being somewhere in between, being mixed race, bisexual, and this gen z/millennial hybrid – I’ve never really felt settled with one particular identity or role. After spending years of studying and working to become a lawyer, I got a few years into practice and realized that while many around me seemed relieved to get settled into the comfort of job security and a predictable paycheck, I was missing something. Don’t get it twisted, I feel fortunate every day for the sweet job I landed, but I also noticed that myself and those around me had become so focused on getting to the next society “should” (find a partner, buy a house, have a kid, etc.) that we were losing sight of the small joys and the importance of being uncomfy sometimes in order to grow and learn. Yes, the big milestones can bring satisfaction (although perhaps in part from the external validation we all subconsciously seek on some level), but I am happiest when I am being creative. I create with the intention of paying homage to the little things in life.
